- Urban planning -
Most of the european cities accumulated centuries of history in their streets and avenues. Madrid started to develop as a city througtout Carlos III reign in the 18th century. It was constructed in several urban plannings, better or worse designed and developped, but always trying to beautify and to create a new city that could work better. However, a bud conection between the old and the new town along the years in different urban plans, has created a caothic urban planning where is really dificult to feel integrated. In fact, Madrid has fragments of other towns that were parcialy built following the design of cities as London, Paris or New York. Therefore, Madrid is a city with a lot of faces, or an urban collage, whose main virtues are the surprise and the daydream of feeling that you never know what's the place where you are living.
